About Handled Calls

Small businesses deserve better software—and real people behind it.

Handled Calls began in Omaha in 2025.

We saw the same problem from two sides. Business software was hard to start, confusing to use, costly, and impersonal when something went wrong.

People doing essential work deserved tools that saved time—and support from someone who would answer.

We experienced the problem from both sides.

Grant ran the business.

The owner’s view.

Grant has spent eight years running a specialized agricultural-equipment dealership in Iowa. He knows how hard it is to lead a team, serve customers, and bring in new tools.

Brian built the software.

The builder’s view.

Brian has spent a decade building software for consumers, businesses, and municipalities. He turns hard systems into products that feel simple and dependable.

“The businesses weren’t ignoring their customers. They were already doing the work.”

Grant regularly works with local contractors in his business, and saw a clear need for a tool to help them. Many are busy owners already on a job. Their hands are full, so they couldn’t stop each time the phone rang.

The problem wasn’t effort. They needed a tool built for the way they work.

You shouldn’t lose the next job because you’re busy doing this one.

The founders

Grant and Brian met through a recreational running club in Omaha. Local races led to talks about bad business software. They realized they could build something better together.
